Welcome to the Aletheia Society’s new website, designed to serve as a centralized hub for our membership-based organization that is committed to democratizing special education research. Our online platform brings our mission of fostering research openness, rigor, and transparency to life, creating a collaborative space for a diverse array of stakeholders—from researchers to K-12 school personnel. From here, you can learn about our core initiatives such as the Special Education Research Accelerator (SERA) platform, which leverages the power of crowdsourcing for large-scale, collaborative research projects and Research in Special Education (RiSE), our soon to be launched Diamond Open Access journal. You can also learn about our unconferences, working groups and professional development opportunities. You may be particularly interested in news of our inaugural UnConference, scheduled to coincide with the Pacific Coast Research Conference from January 31 to February 2, 2024.
